RA Ambassador to Lebanon Awarded with Grand Officer Order

PanARMENIAN.Net - December 20 Lebanese President Emil Lahoud met with Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Areg Hovhannisian, who is completing his diplomatic mission in the country, RA MFA press office reported. The parties exchanged views on the regional developments and highly assessed the effort of Lebanese Armenians for the development of the country. Areg Hovhannisian voiced hope that despite the latest events in Lebanon the stability will be re-established and the state will follow the path leading to development and prosperity. The interlocutors also expressed assurance that the friendly relations between the Armenian and Iranian leadership targeted at maintenance and strengthening of century-old ties appear as a firm bridge in the bilateral relations. The Lebanese President thanked Areg Hovhannisian for his activities and decorated him with the Grand Officer order, the supreme diplomatic award of Lebanon.
