OSCE Monitoring Accompanied by Shots from Azeri SideFebruary 9, 2006 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A recurrent OSCE Monitoring was held at the contact line of the Armenian and Azeri armed forces February 7, RA MOD Spokesman, Col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net The monitoring was conducted at the Ijevan-Ghazakh sector, in the environs of Berkaber settlement. On February 7 morning a briefing with the participation of the field assistants of the OSCE CiO's Personal Representatives took place. The Armenian party was represented by Colonel Avsharyan. He familiarized the field assistants with the situation at the sectors where Azeri soldiers break the cease-fire. After the briefing the OSCE representatives made for the site of monitoring. Two shots from the Azeri side were fixed.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
