Final Point in Talks Should Be Put by Karabakh People

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh should take part in the negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement, NKR parliament deputy, member of ARFD-88 faction Gegham Baghdasaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, non-participation of Karabakh in the negotiations poses additional obstacles to the process. "The NKR leadership should precisely mark the circle of their rights and commitments and share them with Armenia. The issues referring to the return of refugees, territories and status cannot be decided without the participation of Karabakh delegation," he said.

Gegham Baghdasaryan is convinced that the final point in the negotiations should be put by the people of Karabakh. "We cannot trust our fate to anyone, even to Armenia. NKR was excluded form the negotiation process due to indecision of our leadership. Anyway, even if Robert Kocharian and Ilham Aliyev come to an agreement it will not implemented without the approval of the NKR population," the deputy emphasized.
