10% economic growth expected in Artsakh by yearend

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan believes that 10% economic growth will be secured till the end of the current year.

“4% inflation is expected,” he told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter in Stepanakert.

According to Harutyunyan, agriculture is the priority field, which ensures development of Artsakh. “Serious investments were made in agriculture during the recent years. As a result, the GDP doubled, thus bringing the annual growth to 13.3%,” he said, adding that the mining industry and tourism are also rapidly developing.

Artsakh authorities pledge sustainable economic growth for the next five years.
