Armenian citizens get consumer loans against goldSeptember 10, 2013 - 14:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The amount of loans provided by the Armenian commercial banks in July 2013 totaled AMD 331,772bn against AMD 329,276bn in June. According to the Central Bank, the loans given for purchase of household appliances and computers amounted to AMD 21bn, for car purchase – AMD 17,604bn and for other purposes – AMD 80,611bn. Loan against gold totaled AMD 100,622bn. The maximum interest rates for the loans for legal persons: in AMD – 21.4%, in USD - 24%, in euros - 24%; for physical persons: in AMD – 23.1%, in USD 19.6%, in euros - 21%.
