ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO PAY OFFICIAL VISIT TO MOSCOWJanuary 9, 2003 - 18:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - January 16-18 Armenian president Robert Kocharian will be in Moscow on an official visit. As the press service of the Armenian embassy in Russia told "Arminfo" agency, in the course of the visit Robert Kocharian will meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin, prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov, leaders of both chambers of the federal council of Russia Sergey Mironov and Gennady Seleznyov. A meeting with Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkov is also planned. In the course of the visit a wide range of questions concerning the relations between Armenia and Russia will be discussed. The signing of a number of documents in the economic, defense and cultural spheres is also planned.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
