Suicide bomber attacks restaurant popular with foreigners in Kabul

PanARMENIAN.Net - A restaurant popular with foreigners has been attacked by a suicide bomber in the Afghan capital, Kabul, according to BBC News.

Security forces rushed to the scene in the Wazir Akbar Khan neighborhood and gunfire could be heard.

The area is home to several foreign organizations, and the embassies of Canada, Norway and Tajikistan are said to be on the same street as the restaurant.

There are reports of casualties but no details.
