Georgian President starts visit to Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will pay an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of President Abdullah Gul on Jan 20 and 21, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

Margvelashvili's visit will be the 8th official presidential visit in the past 7 years, the press office of Turkish Presidency said in a statement.

According to Trend, the Georgian president will visit the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and give a joint press conference with Gul. He will also meet with the representatives of Georgian diaspora in Turkey.
