Armenian Genocide Victims Commemorated in KrasnodarApril 24, 2006 - 17:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 24 Armenian of Krasnodar (Russia) gathered at the Armenian Church of St. Hovhannes Avetaranich to commemorate the Armenian Genocide victims. After a mass was chanted people held a mourning rally. Representatives of the Armenian community of the town condemned this bloody crime and called upon the international community to counteract Turkey's accession in the European society. Residents of Krasnodar were shown photos testifying of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated in Turkey in 1915-1923, reported Yerkramas, the newspaper of Armenians of Russia.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
