Matthew McConaughey plays Cooper, a down-home engineer who embarks on an intergalactic journey through time and space when a wormhole is discovered that could save civilization. The trailer contains frequent references to “Murphy's Law,” which states that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. The trailer is full of beautiful visuals, most notably when McConaughey's team ventures into space. Hans Zimmer also returns with an appropriately epic soundtrack. “Interstellar” also stars Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, David Gyasi, David Oyelowo, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Casey Affleck, Topher Grace, Wes Bentley, Matt Damon and Mackenzie Foy. “Interstellar” arrives in theaters Nov. 7.
