A report by Strategy Analytics claims that the South Korean electronic giant sold just under half a million devices in the first quarter of 2014. With an estimated 700,000 units sold across the whole smartwatch sector, Samsung holds a 71% majority. The latest figures do not take into account the company's more recent devices, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit, which were launched in April. However, the report does not take the 30% return rate of the original Galaxy Gear into consideration.
