Baku: Karabakh Status Should Be Determined Sooner or Later

PanARMENIAN.Net - Baku is ready to render Nagorno Karabakh the highest status of autonomy, equal to the status of Tatarstan within Russia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stated. In his words, the "Tatarstani Constitution allows establishing representations abroad. He also said that search for alternative keys to the Nagorno Karabakh problem resolution is inappropriate, since there exists positive experience of settling problems of the kind."

According to the Minister, the status of Nagorno Karabakh should be determined sooner or later and Baku offers to resolve the problem within shortest terms. However the Azeris who used to live in Karabakh before the war broke out should participate in the process, he said, reported Day.az.
