EU Envoy for South Caucasus to Arrive in Armenia July 24July 14, 2006 - 16:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter he will be visiting Armenia July 24-25. The main purpose of the visit is to discuss the EU-Armenia cooperation within the European Neighborhood Policy. To note, July 21 Mr Semneby will pay a call to Azerbaijan on the same purpose.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
