Armenian freestyle wrestler wins U23 European Championship gold

PanARMENIAN.Net - Volodya Frangulyan won the U23 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship gold, Armenian media report.

The Armenian wrestler easily beat all his opponents in the Championship, advancing to the finals where he scored 8-3 a victory over Andrey Svirid (Ukraine).

Prior to that, Frangulyan beat Denis Maximov (Belarus) 5-4, Ahmednabi Gvarzatilov (Azerbaijan) 6-4, and Recep Topal (Turkey) 9-7.
