As Armenian consul in the country Gagik Israelian told "Mediamax" agency, "based on the fact that the Turkmen foreign ministry did not make an inquiry at the Armenian embassy, one should suppose that Aram Atanesian is not citizen of Armenia." Answering the Armenian representation inquiry, the Turkmen foreign ministry said it did not posses any official information concerning Atanesian. In the diplomat's words, the Armenian embassy will not undertake any steps in that regard unless corresponding inquiry is made.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
