Debuted as part of David Byrne’s experimental visual arts and musical series, Contemporary Color, the show saw Annie Clark take to the stage before a sea of dancers, lights and waving flags. It looked all kinds of magnificent. Drenched in synths and flowing with an effortless grace of baroque pop, 'Everyone You Know Will Go Away' is a dreamy mini epic - and a promising taster of the follow-up to her 2014 self-titled album - which was deservedly named our album of the year.
