Russian TV Channels Demand that Azeri TV Company Observe Author RightsNovember 23, 2006 - 14:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian TV channels have urged B&BTV Communication Azeri company to observe laws over author's and adjacent rights. According to a joint statement, signed by Pervy Kanal, All-Russian State TV and Radio Company and NTV Company, "violation of author's and adjacent rights for broadcasting Russian TV channels in Azerbaijan" gave a cause for the appeal. Russian TV channels demanded to hold talks on concluding the necessary licensed agreements to broadcast international versions of TV channels, reports Interfax.Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
