Sony Xperia Z6 tipped to boast new, high-end lookDecember 16, 2015 - 10:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Sony's recent smartphone offers might be specs-impressive, but they're hardly design delights. From the original Xperia Z to the current Sony Xperia Z5, the phones have been handed slightly bland, boxy 'Omnibalance' form factors. Now, however, things could be all about to change, with the Sony Xperia Z6 tipped by claimed insider sources to run an all new, high-end look and feel, Digital Spy reports. Seemingly set to ditch the flat-backed, heavily fragmented edge of its predecessors, it has been suggested that the Z6 will move to a more curvaceous metal design. Speaking with cnBeta, the same anonymous source stated that the Z6 would launch in June before quickly being followed up by the Sony Xperia Z7 later in the year - seriously, Sony, it's too much. Past rumours have suggested the Z6, which is likely to go head-to-head with both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7, will run Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 820 processor and Google's new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
