Azerbaijan fires 1200 shots in ceasefire violations over weekend

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani armed forces have fired 1200 shots from various caliber artillery weapons on December 26-27, according to Karabakh Defense Army troops.

Karabakh troops control the situation on the contact line, protecting military positions.

The Azerbaijani armed forces have violated the ceasefire on the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh on the week of December 20-26.

According to Karabakh Defense Army troops, Azeri soldiers have fired 8000 shots using AGM-9, AGS-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers, 60-, 82- and 120-mm mortars, TR-107 rocket launchers, 122-mm D-30 howitzer and Zu-23-2 autocannon.

Karabakh troops continue controlling the situation, retaliating in case of necessity.
