Russia's position on Karabakh constructive and honest

PanARMENIAN.Net - The process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement has entered a rather complicated stage, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasiliy Istratov said. In his words, the negotiation process depends not only on the mediators but also on the sides.



"Russia jointly with the other OSCE MG Co-chairs tries to be maximally constructive and honest," he said.



As for President Putin's statements on the increase of number of the Russian military bases in Armenia, Vasiliy Istratov underscored that the 'President clearly said that the military base in Armenia is by means targeted against any state of the region, including Azerbaijan. Presence of Russian military in any conflict region does not mean participation in the conflict,' reports APA.
