Year of Armenia in France helps French community to better recognize Armenian nation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian accepted the French delegation at the head of French Minister-Delegate for Regional Development Christian Estrosi. At the meeting the RA FM expressed hope the results of the visit will be productive for both sides. Vartan Oskanian underlined France's contribution to excellent realization of measures in the framework of the Year of Armenian in France. In his part Christian Estrosi briefly introduced the Armenian FM to the goals of his visit to Yerevan. He underlined the importance of acquaintance with Armenian cultural heritage by French community, which, in his opinion, gives more opportunity to better know the Armenian nation.



Vartan Oskanian introduced the French Minister-Delegate to the economic situation in the country and diversification efforts of energy resources carried out by Armenia. The sides also exchanged views on foreign policy issues and regional problems, the RA MFA Press Office reports.
