4 killed as 30 rockets land in Aleppo Armenian district![]() June 3, 2016 - 11:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Four Syrian-Armenians were killed as armed militants once again bombarded Nor Kyugh neighborhood of Aleppo, Syria on Thursday, June 2, firing at least 30 rockets, Kantsasar newspaper said in a Facebook post. Three of the victims died immediately, with the charred corpses moved to the hospital. Another Syrian-Armenian, wounded in the course of the attack, died shortly afterwards. One of the rockets landed near the Holy Trinity Church, also called Zvartnots, setting fire to an Armenian craftsman's workshop. At least four people were killed and dozens more wounded as armed militants shelled the Armenian neighborhood of Nor Kyugh in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Sunday, May 29. A total of eight rockets landed in the neighborhood, causing a building to collapse. Days earlier, the Armenian neighborhood fell under a heavy rocket attack. The street where the Armenian nursing home is situated was also bombarded.
