Samsung rolls out flexible laptop-tablet hybridJune 24, 2016 - 11:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - For a brief time after tablets hit the market, potential buyers were stuck between buying a regular laptop and the versatile compact. That's why hybrids have since followed, with Samsung the latest tech giant to get in on the act, Digital Spy said. The company has launched the Notebook 7 Spin, which, as you might have guessed from the name, owns a screen which is able to rotate the full 360 degrees. This allows users to flip between a regular laptop, a tent-like setup or a full tablet, Digital Spy said. The Spin is available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch screen models with full HD resolution plus HDR (High Dynamic Range) video support, with the internal specs offering an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 8GB of RAM (13-inch) or 12GB or 16GB of RAM (15-inch), and 1TB of hard drive storage. Sammy didn't provide exact details on the battery life of the Windows 10-running machine, but did mention how quickly the tablets can be charged: around 1 hour and 40 minutes for the 13-inch model and 1 hour and 30 minutes for the 15-inch model. The flexible notebook will launch on June 26 for those in the US, although the company appears to be continuing its laptop pullout in Australia and the UK.
