Back in April, the band’s drummer, Lars Ulrich, confirmed that the band’s first album in 8 years - the follow-up to 2008’s Death Magnetic - was “pretty close.” Now, according to German newspaper Bild, the band have settled on a release date of 14 October. Speaking to Citizens Of Humanity magazine recently, Ulrich addressed the long gap between albums.
