  Azerbaijan violates ceasefire, attempts to advance on Karabakh July 15, 2016 - 10:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 27 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh on the night of July 14-15. Azeri troops, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire over 1400 shots towards the Armenian positions. In addition, Azeris attempted to move forward in the Akna direction at around 10:45 pm on July 14. Karabakh Defense Army troops took preventive operative measures to thwart Azerbaijan's attempted advance. The relative calm along the Nagorno Karabakh contact line was mainly preserved overnight on July 13-14.
