  Azeri troops use mortars to shell Karabakh positions July 29, 2016 - 10:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani army used various caliber weapons to fire over 600 shots towards the Nagorno Karabakh positions on the night of July 28-29. Also, Azeri troops used a 60-mm mortar to shell the Armenian position in the east (Akna) of the contact line. Karabakh Defense Army troops mainly refrained from retaliating and took measures only in case of extreme necessity. They continue controlling the situation along the entire line of contact. 24 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered along the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh on the night of July 27-28. Azeri troops, in particular, used various caliber firearms to fire over 130 shots towards the Armenian positions. Also, Azeris used an RPG-7 grenade launcher in the north (Talish) of the contact line.
