OSCE MG Russian Co-Chair refused to answer questions of Azeri journalists

PanARMENIAN.Net - OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Bernard Fassier of France and Yuri Merzlyakov of Russia arrived in Baku from Yerevan yesterday in the evening. Answering questions of journalists in the airport after H. Aliev, the French mediator informed that they had meetings with President Robert Kocharian, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian in Armenia.



In Bernard Fassier's opinion meetings were useful, "We build a stage for talks, and one of the bricks was laid in Yerevan. We believe that we will manage to lay several more bricks in Baku." Fassier noted that agreed issues will be discussed with Azeri authorities, which concern the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Meanwhile the Russian Co-Chair Yuri Merzlyakov refused to make comment for journalists, Bakililar.az reports.
