Armenian and Georgian FMs discussed issues concerning settlements of Karabakh, Abkhazian and S. Ossetian conflicts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili hosted in Tbilisi his Armenian counterpart Vartan Oskanian. At the meeting the two discussed issues concerning the cooperation between both countries in the political, economic and cultural spheres. Vartan Oskanian and Gela Bezhuashvili also touched regional problems, relations between neighboring countries, as well as partnership in international structures.



Vartan Oskanian drew his Georgian counterpart's attention to arrests of Armenian citizens by Georgian law enforcement bodies near the Georgian-Armenian border. The two FMs also discussed issues concerning delimitation of the Armenian-Georgian border. Touching upon settlements of regional conflicts Vartan Oskanian underlined adherence of the Nagorno Karabakh people to democracy and familiarized Gela Bezhuashvili with the latest developments in the peace process. In his part Gela Bezhuashvili presented his guest Georgia's approach to the settlement of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict and steps to give the South Ossetian problem an international character, the RA MFA Press Office reports.
