PanARMENIAN.Net - Luc Besson turned 58 on Saturday, March 18 and to celebrate it, the director teased a new trailer for "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets". He posted on Twitter a 19-second sneak peek of the upcoming sci-fi movie, AceShowbiz reports.

"Today is my birthday! But here a little gift... My way to share the cake #valerian #caradelevingne #danedehaan #badgalriri #cliveowen," Luc wrote alongside the post. The full trailer will premiere on March 29.

"Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" stars Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan as Laureline and the title character Valerian, alongside Rihanna and Clive Owen.

Under direction from their Commander (Clive), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha's seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time - uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger.

The movie is set to debut in U.S. theaters on July 21.
