Artur Aghabekyan resigns as Karabakh prime minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) president Bako Sahakyan on Monday, March 20 signed a decree releasing Artur Aghabekyan from the position of vice-prime minister.

Aghabekyan had earlier submitted a corresponding letter.

By a 2012 presidential decree, Aghabekyan was appointed Karabakh's vice-premier, having previously served as Armenia's deputy defense minister, a lawmaker from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, as well as Karabakh's interior minister.
