Debate on conflict settlement without participation of all sides - waste of time

PanARMENIAN.Net - Consideration of any issues referring to resolution of the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict without Abkhazia's participation is senseless, Maksim Gvindjiya, Deputy Foreign Minister of the unrecognized Republic of Abkhazia, said in statement posted on the Abkhazian President's web site.

"First, Georgia's interpretation of the situation is biased. Second, any decisions and recommendations made bypassing the Abkhazian side are nonviable. Debate on conflict settlement without participation of all sides is waste of time," he said.

These days Berlin is hosting a conference on frozen conflicts in the South Caucasus. However, representatives of Nagorno Karabakh, South Ossetia or Abkhazia were invited to the conference.
