  Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Telethon garners over $15 mlnNovember 23, 2007 - 14:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to preliminary data, $15,275,000 was collected during the 10th annual Telethon organized by Hayastan All-Armenian Fund. Donations made by Armenians from U.S., Europe, Asia and Middle East will be spent on development of rural communities of Armenia and NKR.1,400,000 euro and $250,000 was garnered during phonetones held in Armenia, Europe and Argentina November 14-18. 2006 was a record-breaking year, when $13,7 mln was donated for Artsakh Renaissance project. Hayastan All-Armenian Fund was founded in 1992 by the Armenian President's edict. During 15 years of activity development programs totaling $165 mln were implemented in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. The Board of Trustees is headed by the President. Vahe Aghabekyants is the Executive Director.
