Armenia and Iran content with bilateral relations level

PanARMENIAN.Net - January 23, newly appointed Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Sayyid Ali Saghaian handed the copies of his credentials to RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, the RA MFA press office reported.



Welcoming the Ambassador, the Armenian Minister wished his every success at the post and noted that Armenia attaches importance to bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations.



"Armenia assesses highly the development of the Armenian-Iranian relations and intends to deepen them. The visit of Iran's President to our republic last year contributed to the process," Mr Oskanian said.



For his part, the Iranian Ambassador assured he will do everything in his power to strengthen bilateral relations.
