Aronian secures St. Louis Rapid and Blitz win

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Levon Aronian on Friday, August 18 won the St. Louis Rapid and Blitz with a total of 24.5 points.

This is Aronian's second major championship win in St. Louis. He also won the 2015 Sinquefield Cup.

Sergey Karjakin of Russia and Hikaru Nakamura of the United States share the 2nd and 3rd positions, three points behind Aronian.
