Armenia, China's Norinco mull defense cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian defense minister Vigen Sargsyan and the delegation he leads were hosted at the China North Industries Corporation, officially abbreviated as Norinco, on Tuesday, September 5.

The Chinese company manufactures vehicles, machinery, optical-electronic products, oil field equipment, chemicals, light industrial products, civil and military firearms and ammunition.

At a meeting in Beijing, the sides discussed prospects and possibilities of cooperation.

Sargsyan on Monday met his Chinese counterpart who said that China supports the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
