  U.S. diplomats hope for soonest resolution of Armenian crisisMarch 3, 2008 - 18:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 1, Armenia's Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan has phone conversations with Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried and his deputy, OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair Matthew Bryza. The U.S. diplomats voiced hope for soonest resolution of the political crisis via peaceful dialogue. For his part, thanking the American counterparts for support, PM Sargsyan assured that the Armenian government will do its utmost to avoid violence and restore public order and stability. On March 1, Armenia's President Robert Kocharian declared a 20-day emergency rule in Yerevan.
