International observers to arrive in Armenia for Yerevan elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Central Electoral Commission will invite representatives of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe to observe elections to the Yerevan City Council, slated for September 23, CEC chairman Tigran Mukuchyan said.

Applications for participation in the elections can be submitted by September 3, the Commission said earlier.

Election campaigns will begin on September 10 and conclude on September 21.
