  NO CONSCRIPTS FROM ARMENIA IN NKR DEFENSE ARMYSeptember 9, 2002 - 23:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no conscripts from Armenia in the Nagrono Karabakh Republic defense army, only NKR citizens serve in it. NKR defense minister Seyran Ohanian told "Arminfo" agency about it. At the same time he noted that the Nagorno Karabakh armed forces had 40% of military contract personnel, including those from Armenia. In the minister's words, the NKR defense army has come about and can be brought to combat alertness in minimal period of time.
