PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry is planning to purchase 10 Hermes 450 unmanned scout planes "to control the territories seized by Armenia," a source told GPSearch.Org.

"Choosing equipment, we highlight its 'invisibility' for the enemy's anti-aircraft defense, said the source in the Azeri Defense Ministry.

According to AirWar.Ru website, Hermes 450 is a multipurpose unmanned scout plane designed to observe, patrol, scout and correct fire backing. Made of composite materials, it's almost unnoticeable for anti-aircraft defense devices. The plane takes off and lands to a 350 meter long runway.
