SUIT OF "JUSTICE" OPPOSITION BLOC APPEALING AGAINST RETURNS OF ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION DECLINEDJuly 8, 2003 - 19:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Constitutional Court of Armenia completed consideration of the suit of "Justice" opposition bloc appealing against the returns of the parliamentary election held on the proportional voter May 25. According to the court verdict, the decision of the Central Electoral Commission over the returns of the parliamentary election remained unchanged. At the same time the Constitutional Court recognized that the control in the course of the parliamentary election was not sufficient to let minimize gerrymander. The Court also recommended making a number of amendments to the Electoral Code of Armenia.Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
