South Ossetian events had cold shower effect on Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - Much has changed after the August tragedy in South Ossetia, Armenian Foreign Minister said.

"Those events proved that the use of force doesn't resolve problems, but on the contrary, aggravates them," Edward Nalbandian told BBC.

"We had a similar situation with Nagorno Karabakh. Azerbaijan increased its defense budget tenfold. The events in South Ossetia had a cold shower effect on the Azerbaijani leaders, making them stop their bellicose propaganda. But for this tragedy, Azerbaijan could make an attempt to turn its arms against Karabakh," the Minister said.
