Robert Hovhannesyan, David Petrosyan and Aghasi Inants came up with the same result. Rafael Vahanyan, with 6 points, was the best Armenian in Group A. The winner of the tournament was recognized U.S. grandmaster Sergei Onuschuk. Armenian chess players from Group B showed a better result. Suren Poghosyan gained the lead with 8.5 points. David Gevorgyan came up second with 8 points. They will be awarded 150000 and 100000 respectfully.
