  Karabakh reports fierce battles along the frontline October 22, 2020 - 20:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hostilities continue along the entire frontline in Nagorno-Karabakh, presidential spokesman Vahram Poghosyan said Thursday, October 22 evening. "The Defense Army is fighting fierce battles near the villages of Shekher and Jivani in Martuni province. The enemy has sustained major manpower losses," Poghosyan said. Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
