Cash award promised for information about Police Deputy Chief murderer

PanARMENIAN.Net - Large cash award is promised for information about the murderer of Armenian Police Deputy Chief, lieutenant colonel Gevorg Mheryan or circumstances of the offence, Armenian Police press office reports.

Gevorg Mheryan was shot dead at the door of his apartment in 65, Barbyus str., Yerevan, on February 3 evening. An unknown fired one shot into Mheryan's chest and three shots into his head.



The investigators found eight 9mm cartridges and four pistols at the site.



A criminal case in compliance with article 104.2 and article 235.1 of the Armenian Penal Code was initiated. An operational investigative group consisting of police officers and national security officers was formed.
