Armenia: Covid-19 active cases down below 20,000

PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1077 to reach 146,317 on Friday, December 11 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. The number of people receiving treatment has dropped below 20,000 for the first time since October 21.

Fresh figures also revealed that 1592 more people have recovered, 29 patients have died from Covid-19, while seven others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 3057 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 123,474 people have recovered, 2445 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 613 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
