Azerbaijan attempts fresh attack in Karabakh – Defense Army

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani troops attempted to attack in the direction of one of Nagorno-Karabakh's southern positions on Friday, December 11 evening, the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army reports. Three Armenian reservists were injured, their lives are not in danger.

An investigation into the details of the incident is underway.

The Defense Army also denied Azerbaijani media reports that the Armenian side had allegedly launched a provocation near the Karabakh town of Hadrut, which went under Azerbaijan's control during recent fighting.

A trilateral statement on the cessation of hostilities was signed on November 9, after 44 days of intense war. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
