Russia: Karabakh ceasefire holding along entire line of contact

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh is holding along the entire line of contact, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

The Russian peacekeeping contingent is conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation from their observation posts across Karabakh, the Ministry said.

The peacekeepers also are ensuring the safe return of citizens to their places of permanent residence, providing humanitarian assistance, and restoring civilian infrastructure, the Russian Defense Ministry added.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
