Armenia President hospitalized with coronavirus

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has been hospitalized in the United Kingdom where he was earlier diagnosed with Covid-19, his office said Wednesday, January 13.

Sarkissian was at first receiving treatment at home and working remotely, but his condition has apparently deteriorated. According to a press release from his office, Sarkissian has all the symptoms of the coronavirus infection, including fever and double pneumonia.

The President had traveled to London to spend the Christmas holidays with his family. He had also undergone a successful leg surgery in the British capital.
