Azerbaijan hinders search for bodies for the second day in a row

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) rescue teams won't conduct search operations for the second day in a row on Thursday, January 4, Karabakh authorities report.

According to a statement from the State Emergency Service of Karabakh, the Azerbaijanis "are engaged in various activities" in settlements under their control.

Since November 13, the Nagorno-Karabakh rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1355 people, including at least 15 civilians, who have failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.

On February 3, Artsakh rescue teams were supposed to conduct search operations near Fizuli and Jabrayil to recover the bodies of servicemen killed during the war, but the Azerbaijanis did not authorize the mission on territories controlled they control without giving any reasons.
