Armenia reports 89 new coronavirus cases, five deaths![]() February 8, 2021 - 11:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 89 to reach 168,177 on Monday, February 8 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry. Fresh figures also revealed that 156 more people have recovered, six patients have died from Covid-19, while four other carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours. A total of 1870 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said. So far, 159,876 people have recovered, 3123have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 783 others carrying the virus have died from other causes. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
